The feeling of love is remarkable…a singer once said, “a beautiful girl can make u dizzy, like you’ve been drinking Jack and coke all day, it can make you feel high, like the greatest commodity known to man…” how right he was…how right he was…(I cant find any song that has a woman singing something similar to a guy)
If you’ve ever been in love or loved, one simple fact shows how consuming this “love” can be. Apart from the traditional butterflies in the tummy, or the occasional love struck “the world is so beautiful” feeling, there are the other things a guy or girl may do because of love. Things some people would not even do for their own parents …simple things like picking up after one’s self or even saving a penny for a rainy day. BUT when in love, these things can be done with just the simplest forms of suggestion…such as “wow darling/honey/etc.. wouldn’t it be great if we could save for a nice trip..” DING DING DING…. and the other partner goes on a scavenger hunt to save every last penny in site.
It’s not a bad thing, no in fact it can be good sometimes…for example, personally I’ve studied harder because of a loved one..(He was the school genius @ nerd (adih~) and the end results of our relationship weren’t off the charts) so it did help me through something. But here’s the thing, would I have studied any harder in the absence of love? It’s no different; it’s still me…isn’t it? In the absence of love and all things wishy washy and soft and cuddly, I’ve come to notice that anything is possible…yes you probably may become a colder person with the eagerness of a snail on valium. You may lead a less fulfilling life, but none the less…you still live and still will achieve things you never though possible…”look at me mum’ I can finally tie my shoe lace..no more velcro for me!”
hmm..absence of love..absence of a soul-mate or a significant other…tis’ a strong feeling indeed; love. .. leaps and bounds nothing much can really stop the feeling of full bliss and serene when you feel : Love.
